Have you ever thought about helping others in your community?

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health needs volunteers to help on a telephone support line.

The Telephone Support Line will be open from 3pm to 9pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Volunteers will need to commit to one three-hour shift a week.

Volunteers must be at least 19 years old, able to make a one-year commitment and participate in training. Training will begin in late fall, and will be 3 hours a week for approximately 10 weeks.

We especially need people who can volunteer from 3 to 6 pm during the week and who are available to do training on Saturdays and/or evenings.

We appreciate all volunteer applicants and encourage individuals who have experienced mental health and/or addiction issues to volunteer.

If you are interested, Please contact Volunteer Resources at (416) 535-8501 ext. 3074 or download and fill out an application, or email lisa_pont@camh.net.We look forward to hearing from you!
