Edward M. Adlaf, Angela Paglia and Joseph H. Beitchman

The Mental Health and Well-Being of Ontario Students focuses on trends in mental health and well-being of Ontario students from 1991, when mental health questions were introduced in the OSDUS. This report presents data on factors such as physical and mental health, problem behaviour, social health, and risk and protective factors in the area of mental health. Drug Use among Ontario Students Findings from the OSDUS (1977 - 2001)

CAMH Research Document Series No. 10

Edward M. Adlaf, Angela Paglia

Since 1977, the Ontario Drug Use Survey (OSDUS) has collected data illustrating the rates and patterns of drug use among students in grades 7 to 12 (OAC). The survey, conducted by CAMH, is the longest ongoing study of adolescents in Canada. This report focuses on the extent and patterns of alcohol and other drug use among Ontario students from 1977 to 2001. The OSDUS contributes to our understanding of current and changing patterns of alcohol and other drug use, the problems associated with substance use, and the social and demographic correlates involved.
