The R. Samuel McLaughlin Addiction and Mental Health Information Centre, a new initiative from CAMH, will increase CAMH’s ability to reach and support Ontarians in need of assistance.

The McLaughlin Addiction and Mental Health Information Centre will serve Ontario through:

    • An enhanced toll-free Information Line, including Information and Referral specialists and audio-taped messages.
    • A telephone support line staffed by volunteers providing informal and/or peer support
    • Web-based information on a range of topics.
    • A store-front Information Centre
    • New print, audio-taped messages, and web materials in 16 languages.

CAMH papers are designed to present the most up-to-date knowledge on emerging issues and are ideal for professionals in the mental health and addictions fields, policy makers, and others who wish to understand the latest information on key issues. More...

Workplace Health Consulting Services

Workplace Health Consulting Services addresses a wide range of substance use and mental health issues, tailored to an organization's needs and budget. They can work with companies to design mental health and substance use policies to facilitate information sessions to communicate these policies to staff, and to train managers, supervisors and employee representatives in the implementation of these policies in the workplace. Some issues include: alcohols and drug use in the workplace; mental health in the workplace; violence in the workplace; understanding, preventing and managing aggressive behavior; problem gambling and employee assistance programs.

Education & Training Services

As part of the Community Health and Education Program, Education and Training Services offers a vast spectrum of training and development opportunities all over Ontario. All our courses and workshops are designed for people working in substance use, mental health and related fields.
