Centred on Excellence

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largest mental health and addictions facility in Canada, and a Pan American Health Organization and World Health Organization Collaborating Centre.

The Centre is recognized for its uniqueness and its ability to: integrate biological, social and clinical research; translate research done in a laboratory into practical treatment and tools; provide a complete continuum of care in one setting; integrate the treatment of alcohol, drug and mental disorders; and be at the forefront of leading-edge research, making major advancements in the treatment of a number of diseases including schizophrenia and anorexia.

Our supportive learning environment offers on-site training, workshops, professional development courses and an on-site B.Sc.N. Baccalaureate degree program. Located in downtown Toronto, we are easily accessible by transit. We offer a balance of work and lifestyle including on site day care facility, discounts on membership at the University of Toronto Athletic Centre, on-site pool and tennis courts (at the Queen Street location) and gymnasiums.

Opportunities are available for most health care professionals. Our clinical programs include:

-- Addiction Medicine

-- Assessment and General Treatment Program

-- Treatment Programs for Special Populations

-- Law and Mental Health
